Important Notice

? Kindly submit 1 (ONE) SET of the original application form and certificates, along with 1 (One) original recommendation letter in one envelope.

  • For Embassy track applicants, please provide photocopies of certifications (notarized or apostilled copies are not required).
  • Successful candidates, post-interview, are required to resubmit one set of consular-authenticated (or apostilled) documents.
  • The Embassy will make three copies when necessary.

? Documents in languages other than Korean or English must be accompanied by complete translations in Korean or English, along with photocopies of the original language documents.

? Applicants failing to submit all required documents in the correct format will be disqualified.

? For documents smaller than A4 size, attach them to a blank A4 paper. For larger documents, photocopy them to fit A4 size or fold them to A4 size.

Eligibility for GKS Scholarship 2024 Indonesia

    ? Applicants and their parents must hold foreign citizenship (non-Korean citizenship).

    ? Applicants must be under 40 years old as of September 1, 2024 (born after September 1, 1984).

    ? Applicants must hold or expect to hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree by July 31, 2024.

    ? Applicants expected to graduate at the time of application must submit a certificate of expected graduation. The official degree certificate (or diploma) and final academic transcript must be submitted by July 31, 2024, at the latest.

    ? Grades: Applicants must maintain an overall grade point average (CGPA) equivalent to or higher than any ONE of the following scales from their respective universities:

    • 2.64 on a 4.0 scale;
    • 2.80 on a 4.3 scale;
    • 2.91 on a 4.5 scale;
    • 3.23 on a 5.0 scale; or
    • Score percentile: 80% or above on a 100-point scale or be ranked within the top 20% of one’s class.

    ? Accepted English proficiency tests: TOEFL and IELTS only.

    ? Applicants must select THREE different desired universities and available fields of study from the 59 universities listed in section III (Type A + Type B) of the attached guidelines, INCLUDING at least one university from Type B.
