The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Delhi is pleased to announce the “2024 GKS Scholarship India,” inviting Indian students to embark on their Graduate Degree journey in Korea.
Eligible Indian students can seek this scholarship opportunity through the ‘Embassy Track‘ and are required to submit their applications to the Korean Embassy in New Delhi.
Quota for 2024 GKS Scholarship India
NIIED has increased the quota for Indian students for 2024. Last year, a total of 50 students from India were invited to study in Korea for FREE through the Global Korea Scholarship, this year, the quota has doubled.
Embassy Track = 28
University Track = 73
Total = 101+

Deadline:
The deadline to apply through the Embassy Track is February 29, 2024. Please note that the deadline for the University Track varies from university to university.
All scholarship applications must be submitted no later than February 29, 2024 (Thursday) to the following address:

I hold two Masters degrees, one in English Language from an Indian University and Literature (2014) and another in International Relations (2021) from Adam Mickiewicz University of Poland. It would be great if you could please give my queries listed below:
1. If I want to apply for the GKS Scholarship for the Doctoral program which MA certificate I should provide?
2. In case of the MA certificate from the mentioned Polish University, it would be impossible to get it apostille within the given time period because I am back in India. Could you please recommend me something regarding this?
3. Is it possible to apply without a recommendation letter or with the scanned copies of the recommendation letter that would be sent to me by my Polish University Professor ?
