GKS Scholarship 2024 Sweden Details
- Total Number of Scholarships Available
- Quotas for Sweden: 2 (1 reserved for overseas Korean)
- Duration of Scholarship
- Doctoral Degree Program: 4 years (1 year of Korean language program + 3 years of regular degree program)
- Master’s Degree Program: 3 years (1 year of Korean language program + 2 years of regular degree program)
- Research Program: 6 months/1 year

- March 6 (Wed.): Deadline for submission
- March 12 (Tue.): Interview invitations sent via email to selected candidates
- Interview details communicated personally via email
- March 22 (Fri.): Announcement of successful candidates
- Results communicated personally via email

- Deadline: March 6, 2024 (Wednesday)
- Place of Submission (Postal Address): Embassy of the Republic of Korea Laboratoriegatan 10 115 27 Stockholm, Sweden
- Note: Write “2024 GKS Graduate Application” on the envelope.
- Important Requirements for Submission
- Refer to the attached application guidelines for required documents.
- “Documents to Complete” must be filled in English or Korean with the applicant’s original handwritten signature, without the need for apostille or consular confirmation.
- All “Required Certificates” must be apostilled or consular confirmed. Swedish documents require certified translation in English or Korean.
- Submit 4 sets of application documents (1 original and 3 photocopies) in separate envelopes, with the original set marked as “Original.”
- Include a signed and sealed letter of recommendation from a supervisor, dean, or professional in the field of study.
- GKS 2024 Sweden Notice
- Failure to submit all required documents will result in automatic disqualification in the first round of selection.
- Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances.
- If additional documents are required by a university, applicants must submit them directly to the university.
