Global Korea Scholarship GKS 2024 Iran – Graduate

Global Korea Scholarship aims to facilitate international students’ pursuit of academic degrees at Korean higher educational institutions, fostering global education exchange and strengthening friendships among participating nations. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Iran is pleased to announce the GKS 2024 Iran for the graduate degree programs.

GKS 2024 Iran Details

1. GKS Scholarship Iran Quota

• Embassy Track = 6
• University Track = 11

2. Duration of Scholarship

• Doctoral Degree Program: 4 years (1 year of Korean language program and 3 years of regular degree program)
• Master’s Degree Program: 3 years (1 year of Korean language program and 2 years of regular degree program)
• Research Program: 6 months/1 year

3. Application Timeline

• Deadline: February 29, 2024

5. Important Requirements for Submission

• Refer to the attached application guidelines for the required documents.
• “Documents to complete” should be filled in English or Korean with the applicant’s original handwritten signature, but no apostille or consular confirmation is required.
• All “Required certificates” must be apostilled or consular confirmed. Documents in Swedish require certified translation in English or Korean.
• Submit 4 sets of application documents (1 original set and 3 photocopies, identical to the original) in separate envelopes, with the original set marked as “Original.”
• Include a sealed letter of recommendation from a supervisor, dean, or professional in the desired study field.

6. Notice

• Failure to submit all required documents will result in automatic disqualification from the first round of selection. (Refer to the attached “Application Guidelines” before sending applications.)
• Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances.
• If a university requires additional documents, applicants must submit them directly to the university.
