Global Korea Scholarship GKS 2024 Denmark – Graduate

The Global Korea Scholarship aims to offer international students the chance to pursue graduate-level studies at prestigious educational institutions in Korea, fostering global education exchange and strengthening bonds between Korea and participating nations.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Denmark is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Global Korea Scholarship GKS 2024 Denmark Program. This scholarship opportunity enables successful candidates to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees in Korea.

GKS Scholarship 2024 Denmark Details

  1. Master’s Degree Program: 3 years
    • 1 year of Korean language program
    • 2 years of degree program
  2. Doctoral Degree Program: 4 years
    • 1 year of Korean language program
    • 3 years of regular degree program
  3. Research Program: 6 Months or 1 Year

The benefits of the scholarship cover various aspects, including airfare, university tuition fees, settlement allowance, monthly allowance, medical insurance, degree completion grants, language training fees, research support fees, and more.

The application deadline is Friday, March 15, 2024.

Selected applicants will be invited to an interview at the Korean Embassy. Candidates chosen by the Korean Embassy will have their documentation forwarded to NIIED (National Institute for International Education) for a final decision.

  • Applicants must be Danish citizens.
  • ONE set of original documents + THREE sets of photocopies are required. Original documents must have an apostille.
  • Grades converted into a different scale must be officially endorsed by the university.
  • Grade conversions from “scholaro.com”, “wes.org”, etc., are valid only with official university endorsement.
