The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brazil is pleased to announce the schedule for application to the Global Korea Scholarship 2024 Brazil.
This year, there will be 9 slots available through the Embassy for Brazilians interested in studying in Korea with full scholarships.
Although the announcement allows for application only through the Embassy track of GKS-G 2024, the Embassy recommends that candidates not approved in this initial selection phase apply directly with the University of interest regarding the possibility of applying via the University Track, depending on the institution’s schedule.

GKS Scholarship 2024 Brazil Important Points
- The Embassy will continue to require the original attested translation (sending only a copy in the first phase) + notarization of all documents. Thus, only candidates approved in this first phase must necessarily send us the original sworn translation and apostille of all documents, at a time to be defined by the Embassy, under the possibility of having the approval/scholarship canceled if they do not do so.
- As an additional document, and not obligatory, the Embassy requests those who have taken the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM) exam, in any previous year, to present the score report. These scores MUST NOT, under any circumstances, be used to replace the GPA calculation. It is just another way for the Embassy to thoroughly understand the candidates’ academic background.
- Registration through the Embassy in the 1st phase requires a large envelope, containing 4 other envelopes, as follows: 1 with notarized copies + envelopes with simple copies. Documents different from this format or not in accordance with other rules of the announcement will be automatically disqualified.
- As per the announcement, submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances.
