GKS Scholarship 2023 India (Undergraduate)

The “2023 Global Korea Scholarship” or the GKS Scholarship 2023is being offered by the Korean Embassy in New Delhi to Indian students who wish to complete their undergraduate studies in Korea.

*For Indian Students, the deadline to submit your applications via Embassy Track = October 7

Indian students who meet the criteria must submit their application to the Korean Embassy in New Delhi using the “Embassy Track” system.

GKS Scholarship 2023 India Benefits:

The GKS Scholarship 2023, one of the most renowned scholarships in the world, will cover your tuition, airfare, and other costs while also giving you a stipend of 900,000 KRW and health insurance.

GKS Scholarship 2023 India Quota:

As you are aware, there are two application tracks for the GKS Scholarship: the University Track and the Embassy Track.

A total of 200 students from around the world will be chosen for the class of 2023 using both the tracks.

Embassy Track:

When it comes to India, 2 students will be selected via Embassy Track.

University Track:

While in the University Track, there is no fixed quota for India or other countries. For example, a total of 12 students will be selected from the Southwest Asian countries

Track called UIC – University Industry Cooperation. And as mentioned early, there is no fixed quota for India.

Eligibility Criteria for Indians:

1. Must be an Indian Citizen.

2. Must be under 25 years of age (born after 1st March 1998).

3. High school graduates or expected to graduate by 28th February 2023. Applicants who are expected to graduate must submit the certificate of expected graduation at the time of applying.

4. Must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to or higher than any ONE of the following from their high school.

• Score percentile should be 80% or above on a 100-point scale or be ranked within the top 20% within one’s class

• CGPA : 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0

5. Must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.

GKS Scholarship 2023 India Embassy Track

Those who wish to apply for 2023 Global Korea Scholarship must read the complete guidelines and eligibility criteria carefully and thoroughly before applying for scholarship. 

Applicants must submit their scholarship applications no later than 7th October 2022 (Friday) by 17:00 hours to the below given address.
